The largest hot air balloon in the world can carry 30 people!
The world's largest hot air balloon, Inno-Lotus, is 60.8 meters (200 feet) tall when enveloped, and 65 meters (213 feet) in diameter when fully inflated. Capable of carrying up to 29 passengers, it is often used for tours and special events. Despite its massive size, Inno-Lotus operates on the same principles as smaller balloons, using a propane burner to heat the air inside the envelope and make it rise. The pilot controls the balloon's height by adjusting the heat output, and can also steer it by riding winds at different altitudes. To land, the pilot gradually reduces the burner temperature, allowing the air inside to cool and the balloon to descend safely to the ground. In essence, Inno-Lotus and other hot air balloons float through the sky, delivering a peaceful and unique vantage point to explore the world from above.
